During the last Zoomark in Bologna in 2011 LGMAquari has presented his new Fluidized Bed FB2. Finally one sample was shipped to DaniReef.com to test.
We were very excited to have in our hands this great piece of human craftmanship.
The big improvement was the non return valve placed on central pipe, so it’s not important to place some sort of sponge to avoid the media to go into the pump. A very clever way to improve the reactor.
The pump used on the reactor is the Sicce Syncra Silent 1.0, with flow rate of 950 l/h, 16 watt of power absorbed and head max of 1,5 meter at 230V.
The reactor measures 54 cm height and 12 cm wide, with the inner tube of 11 cm of diameter and 32 cm height useful to put media inside.
Now the reactor is under my tank, so the next month I’ll write a complete review.
