Maximum consumption for the LEDs part: 130 watt
What specifications do not say, however, are the features of this wonderful how small ceiling.
On the right you can see the graph of the spectrum emitted by the Ecotech Marine Radion XR30w G2, and at the bottom the PAR distribution (photosynthetically active radiation).
In practice this means that the light will be very close to the blue and then it will be much appreciated by our corals. Nevertheless, the presence of the green and red LED will enable us to put even more emphasis to these colors. We can control and set everything via the EcoSmart live program that will allow us to vary the light intensity and every other aspect, to let us creating our preferred light spectrum, of course within the limits of leds, to act as moonlight and so on. The applications are endless and we will see them all, in our in depth review, which will arrive as usual after a few months of test.
The ideal coverage of Radion is about 26×22 inches or about 65*55 cm, so multiple radion can be variously combined to increase the coverage for our marine aquarium.
The light produced with Ecotech Marine Radion XR30w G2 is very directional and finally there are the beloved “Glitter Lines”, which among other things, are so good for the health of our corals, acting as lenses which intensify the light power.
The T.I.R. lenses (Total Internal Reflection) was also added to ceiling, means as Ecotech Marine’s engineers have managed to put inside the Radion a lens system that did not have lateral dispersion, but where all the light are internally reflected and emitted above our aquarium.
If you have any questions feel free to ask, as far as possible we are here to answer to everything.
