Sicce XStream-E are protected by 3 years warranty, excluding the impeller. The warranty can be extended to 5 years if they are registered on the Sicce website… well, an incredible feature that underlines their amazing quality.

Conclusions

The Sicce XStream-E really satisfied us. Even being electronic, it retains a good efficiency of 515 l per watt and a good economic efficiency of 46 l per euro. Its functioning in the tank doesn’t seem to show any defects, to the point that we might ask ourselves if it’s actually working regularly. It’s very silent and powerful enough to manage a 400 l tank (depending on the animals hosted) if used in a pair. A strongly recommended excellent pump.

Nothing has been left to chance starting from the box, but the real surprise is the pump with its electronic adjustable flow and the random flow mode that makes the water movement as close to nature as possible.

The pump is small and doesn’t get in the way in the tank. It has a good direction angle giving us wide choices for orienting it, and it’s extremely silent and cheap in terms of power consumption. It’s not that cheap at the moment of purchasing though, with an RRP of € 185.00, but you’ll probably be able to find it for less online (€ 165 on Tropical Nature). Anyway the price is justified by the excellent manufacturing, the easy programming and by the potential 5 years warranty.
