Omega One was born in Alaska, exactly in Sitka in 1998, thanks to the insight of two brothers who invented, and thereafter registered, a way to create fish food directly from Alaska’s fresh fish and shellfish.
Those raw materials were abundant in Alaska, so the food was really good, and they used as protein sources salmon, halibut and shrimps instead of the common fish paste used anywhere else. For more these ingredients were and they are still purchased from sustainable fisheries farms, to preserve Alaskan coasts’ richness. In addition Omega One built a repopulation and collection area for the kelp, the particular brown seaweed that they use in their food.
OmegaSea is the society and they distribute Omega One that is the brand and so their product.
At present Omega One diversified its list adding marine salt, illumination and accessories as well. But for us they will always be inseparably linked to the excellent food they produce.
As you can see in the pictures the majority of their booth was dedicated to the famous food, in any version, of course. There are plenty of products in their list. And they range in all the kinds and composition for every existing fish.
Of course Omega One’s food with the red jar is still recognizable in our minds. But you can find everything.
In the previous picture you can see the sea-salt occupying a small but important part of the booth.
The salt is available in different formulations as well, according to the animals you breed in your tank.
