Unica Coral Zoo Concentrate is a liquid and extremely concentrate solution, according to the producer, based on selected marine plankton, raw fish, amino acids and fatty acids Omega 3 and Omega 6.
This should make the concentrate similar to what it’s found in marine water, while the proteins and the amino acids should supply the eventual lacks.
The product is cold worked, in order to maintain as much as possibile the quality of the original compounds, avoiding the use of preservatives.
Notice that the fatty acids could inhibit the skimming.
The product has a liquid form and can be administered with the given pipette. We have a pretty tought sample of pipette, but could have been an unfortunate case.
Once opened the products has to be kept in the fridge.
Administration and costs
Coral Zoo Concentrate contains 20 ml of solution, and costs 21,60 euro. Unluckily it’s not that cheap, like all these kind of products.
The producer suggests to administer 1ml of products every 25 liters of the aquarium, every two days. In my marine aquarium of 400 liters I administer 16 drops.
The comfort is to be able to administer the product directly in the aquarium, maybe with just the movements pumps switched off, without a preventive mixing.
