I had already tried the Tunze Care Magnet in the past, but I didn’t like that they didn’t float. But now it’s another story with the Care Booster.

Did you ever had a tool that you thougth it missed that only one feature for being perfect? That’s exactly what happened between me and the Care Magnet, and as soon as I heard about the Tunze Care Booster I immediately wanted to have it in my hand, hoping that it could be, finally, the perfect tool…
And it really is! In fact Care Booster is a polystyrene cover that goes over the Care Magnet and has a couple of clamps that hooks the Care Magnet to the Care Booster as you can see in the following pictures. The package contains two Care Booster. If you scroll the pictures you can see how to match even the external part of the magnet.
The Care Magnet, if you don’t know it, it’s a magnet with various peculiarities. The blade is made by a synthetic material, then it can’t damage or scratch the glass. It’s sold with another blade, supplied with the model 220.015, one short and the other longer in order to obtain a different pressure on the glass. The distance between magnet and glass is 3 millimeters, avoiding to collect sand and scratch the surface of the glass. And, to me, the most interesting feature is the small blade supplied, that can be considered as a renovated Easy Blade, that can be used also as a glass-cleaner scraper. This isn’t a real blade, it’s more solid and less sharp.

The idea of the Care Booster it’s pretty simple, but it works! The magnet is very handy, and i think that for 15mm it’s the perfect magnet, light, handy, and with the float that brings the magnet on the surface.

The Tunze Care Booster is made by a material similar to the polystyrene, even if we don’t have any other information about. The selling price, in fact, is extremely low: 12,80 euro vat included. The Tunze Care Magnet, on the other hand, costs 32,40 euro.
