Some weeks ago we had the opportunity to test thoroughly some Reef Flare‘s lamps in our DaniReef LAB: now we present the LED Reef Flare Bar Blue S of 60 cm.
This article is also available in: italiano
As you know, and as I wrote in my “The new Reef Flare PRO L Blue in our DaniReef LAB: power to spare“, we could test three ceiling lights: Reef Flare PRO L Blue, which we have already talked about, the Reef Flare PRO L, which we’ll be soon object of an article, and the Reef Flare Bar S blue which we now begin to present.
The bars are very well built, in solid extruded aluminum. This leads to a high level passive cooling, considered the number of LED and the weight of the ceiling lights themselves.

The Reef Flare Blue S LED bars in our video
In this video we don’t just talk about the bars, but by clicking on the video you’ll be directed to the dedicated part. But if you’re interested in other ceiling lights, we recommend you to watch the whole video! It’s in Italian, but you can turn the English subs on.
Enjoy!
Peculiarities of the Reef Flare Bar Blue S
The LED Blue Bars are between 410 and 480 nm. This gives a very full and satisfying blue light. Moreover, the ceiling light is dimmable, even if though it’s a single channel. That is, you can’t dim the single LED but the whole ceiling light. You can create an on/off ramp, for example. As you now, I don’t think it’s necessary, but it’s undoubltedly a convenient and very scenographic feature. All made by the app Reef Factory.
